Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data evaluation, profiling, analysis, and reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Total IT experience of 6 to 10 years, with 3 to 6 years as a Data Analyst.

- Evaluate existing data systems and perform data analysis & profiling.

- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies that support business decisions.

- Strong fundamentals in Relational Database Systems, DB Models, and SQL Queries, with exposure to Excel Macros.

- Hands-on experience working in Cloud environments (Azure/AWS).

- Knowledge of SQL Server / Azure SQL is a plus.

- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure efficient data storage, management, and retrieval in On-Prem/Cloud environments.

- Exposure to Data & ETL tools such as SQL Server ETL - SSIS / Cloud ADF is preferred.

- Analyze and translate business needs into data models for long-term solutions.

- Participate in requirement analysis discussions to understand and document data requirements.

- Assess data quality and meaning, removing corrupted data and suggesting fixes.

- Review reports and performance indicators to identify trends and propose corrective actions.

- Prepare reports for management, stating trends, patterns, and predictions based on data insights.

- Work with programmers, engineers, and leadership teams to identify process improvements, system modifications, and data governance strategies.

- Prepare final analysis reports for stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making.

- Lead discussions with technical project teams and DBAs to create and implement high-performance physical data models.

- Troubleshoot and optimize data systems for efficiency and accuracy.

- Willingness to learn new tools and techniques and adopt them as part of the role.

- Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address internal challenges and create innovative solutions.

- Review modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.

- Exposure to reporting platforms is a plus.

- Lean/Agile mindset with the ability to pivot and manage multiple priorities.

Technical and Professional Expertise :

- Strong knowledge of SQL fundamentals and data models.

- Hands-on experience with data integration, automation, and transformation processes.

- Ability to work with cloud data services (Azure/AWS).

- Understanding of data security and compliance.

- Experience in documentation and data flow design.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data pipeline issues.

- Experience with reporting tools (Power BI preferred).

- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
