Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Software Performance Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing for web-based and mobile applications, with expertise in tools like JMeter and Postman.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test scripts to ensure our software applications meet the required performance benchmarks and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct performance testing using JMeter for web-based and mobile applications.

- Write requirements and create scenarios for performance and load testing.

- Simulate various user loads to assess system performance under different conditions, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.

- Define performance benchmarks, SLAs, and test objectives.

- Develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts and test data.

- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics such as CPU usage, memory consumption,

response time, and throughput during tests.

- Document test results, create performance test summary reports, and present findings to stakeholders.

- Integrate performance test scripts with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.

- Design, develop, and support test frameworks for test infrastructure.

- Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve performance-related issues.

- Ensure quality and timely delivery of performance test scripts and product releases.

- Assist stakeholders in replicating reported issues and troubleshooting field issues.

- Provide clear bug descriptions and useful debugging information for complex systems.

- Continuously update skills by learning new technologies relevant to performance testing.

- Identify issues, risks, and dependencies, escalating them to appropriate stakeholders when

necessary.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on performance testing experience.

- Expertise in JMeter and Postman for performance testing.

- Experience with API and UI performance testing.

- Strong knowledge of performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace, New Relic.

- Hands-on experience in analyzing system performance metrics such as CPU usage, memory consumption, response time, and throughput.

- Deep understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.

- Ability to derive test scenarios from business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of system architecture, databases, and web technologies.

- Good reporting, documentation, and analytical skills.

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Detail-oriented and highly organized.

- Knowledge of additional performance testing tools such as Gatling, SmartMeter, BlazeMeter, etc., is a plus.
