We are seeking a skilled Tandem Developer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in COBOL, TACL, and Tandem technologies, along with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using COBOL, TACL, and Guardian procedure calls.

- Work with Pathway, SQL/MP, and Tandem utilities to ensure efficient system performance.

- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and system issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement business solutions.

- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support daily operations.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Tandem technologies.

- Strong understanding of COBOL, TACL, Guardian procedure calls.

- Proficiency in Pathway, SQL/MP, and Tandem utilities.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

- Experience in documenting SOPs for operational support.
