Tandem Analyst (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Role and Responsibility :

- Analyze the Tandem COBOL sources and generate functional insights for the Engg team, provide clarifications on the implemented behavior.

- Detailed estimation of work requests based on WBS.

- Understand customer requirements, design, develop, and unit test solutions.

- Preparation of technical design documents.

- Walkthrough of design with Domain SME.

- Review code deliverables.

- Support SIT, UAT cycles.

- Application deployment verification.

- Knowledge of TAL, COBOL, ENSCRIBE, SQL, Tandem utilities such Base24, SQL/MP.

Qualification :

A Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.

Competencies :

- Fluent in English.

- Excellent communicator : ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.

- Attention to detail, track record of authoring high quality documentation.

- Organized approach : manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
