Role : Senior Performance Test Engineer

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Performance Test Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing methodologies and a proven track record of identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in complex systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance tests, analyzing results, and providing actionable recommendations to improve system performance and scalability.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and scripts using industry-standard tools.

- Conduct load, stress, endurance, and other performance tests to evaluate system behavior under various conditions.

- Identify and analyze performance bottlenecks at various layers (application, database, network, etc.).

- Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.

- Generate comprehensive performance test reports with clear and concise findings and recommendations.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of performance testing frameworks and best practices.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest performance testing tools, techniques, and trends.

Qualifications :

- 7+ years of relevant experience in performance testing.

- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter.

- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and concepts.

- Expertise in identifying and analyzing performance bottlenecks.

- Proficiency in SQL scripting or Python scripting for test automation and data analysis.

- Experience with monitoring tools (any tool is acceptable).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with cloud-based performance testing.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and performance testing integration.
