Java Developer (2-3 yrs)

Job Description : As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using Java 8, as well as implementing efficient data structures and algorithms. You will also work with relational databases and SQL to build scalable and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software engineering principles, problem-solving skills, and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Java 8 features such as lambdas, streams, and functional programming paradigms.

- Implement and optimize complex data structures and algorithms to improve application performance and scalability.

- Write and optimize SQL queries for database operations, ensuring high-performance data retrieval and manipulation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software on time.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to maintain the reliability and stability of the system.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development practices.

- Assist in the integration of third-party APIs and libraries to enhance application functionality.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Proven experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Java 8 features.

- Solid understanding of data structures (e.g., arrays, linked lists, trees, graphs) and algorithms (e.g., sorting, searching, dynamic programming).

- Proficient in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).

- Experience with Java frameworks and tools (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Gradle) is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for writing efficient, scalable code.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an agile development environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a bonus.
