Data Lead - ETL/SQL (8-10 yrs)

Experience : 8 to 10 Years

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the Data & ETL initiatives, including the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from multiple data sources such as files, tables, event hubs, and cloud-based data lakes.

- Develop, implement, and manage data pipelines to automate data ingestion and transformation processes for seamless data flow across platforms.

- Create and optimize SQL queries to extract data from databases and configure for OLTP and Data Warehouses (DW).

- Leverage MS SQL Server, TSQL, Azure SQL, and Redshift to build and optimize database solutions.

- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across the data management processes.

- Manage and monitor data processes, resolving issues and optimizing performance.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to design, build, and support solutions that meet business needs for data integration,

analysis, and reporting.

- Work in cloud-based environments (Azure / AWS), managing data pipelines and automating processes in cloud ecosystems.

- Support reporting and analytics initiatives, with exposure to tools like Power BI for visualizing and analyzing data.

Qualifications :

- Around 6 to 10 years of total IT experience, with at least 3+ years as a Data & ETL Lead.

- Strong hands-on experience in Data Management and ETL processes using MS SQL Server.

- In-depth knowledge of SQL fundamentals and expertise in writing complex SQL queries.

- Strong experience with Data Pipelines and automation for data ingestion and transformation.

- Experience with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.

- Familiarity with Relational Database Systems, DB Scripts, and database platforms such as Azure SQL and Redshift.

- Exposure to Reporting and Analytics platforms, particularly Power BI, is a plus.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or higher is preferred.
