JOB PURPOSE.

Responsible for Daily/Monthly/Weekly MIS circulation, preparation and record keeping of mandatory organizational data for easy availability.

Plant performance management and suggesting corrective actions and closures accordingly..

1.

Plan and projection of various equipment shut down for maintenance with optimize cost of operation..

Prepare availability, outage, emergency shutdown reports, and keep records available.

Operation data for Power cost variance report EPS Vs actual..

Support for export income calculations.

2.

Adherence to Internal Process and Coordination.

Timely preparation and circulation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly MIS.

Coal performance monitoring as per established coal management process, record unavailable hours with reason.

Coal GCV Variance Monitoring and corrective actions, convert avoidable losses in rupees.

Area wise power consumption monitoring and variance analysis.

Generating Incident report with CPP operation Head inputs.

All external/Internal audit points tracking & compliance > 95%, Ensuring data availability and authenticity as it is input for ERIMS/EnMS.

Mandatory data preparation, Extract and manage the related data to comply the requirement of various authorities.

Fulfilment of data requirements by EnMS Team, ERIMS Team, Refinery MIS, Technical Services, Environment team.

Ensure that all plant related critical parameters are within safe working range.

Any abnormalities to be inform immediately to SIC and concerned department shift engineer..

Track BSC targets and generate early alarm for deviation..

Proper communication of all critical issues.

3 Emergency handling.

Immediately move to site to support operation team in case of emergency round the clock with shortest notice..

Assist desk engineer during emergency handling with reference to available resources in emergency condition..

Work in round the clock shift in case of emergency and manage normal operation.

4 Ensure Optimum performance of all equipments.

Ensure that all equipment are running at design parameter & within the range of normal operation..

Equipment wise performance monitoring and suggesting corrective actions.

5 HSEF related activities for the plant.

Ensure all plant related HSE work compliance.

Be a part of near miss reporting.

6 Compliance to System, Policy & Procedure.

Preparation of mandatory data requirements for legal authorities as and when required..

EnMS ERIMS mandatory data readiness, preparation.

Strict adherence to standard requirement and updating as per requirement.

100% compliance to audit system.

Procurement of all operation consumables viz logbooks, Taprogge balls, etc.

Ensure all operation related records/documents availability.

7 Provide training.

Proper training to Shift Incharge for report preparation.

Develop self with updated and new technologies and implementation in job role.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:.

BE/Diploma Engineer- Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument.

BE/Diploma Engineer with minimum of 4 years of experience in Thermal or combined cycle cogeneration power plant.

Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience:.

Functional Skills:.

Knowledge on SAP System and other functional softwares.

Knowledge of Ms Office.

Presentation Skills.

Knowledge of DCS and ESD operation during emergency.
