DevOps Engineer - ServiceNow Platform (7-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow development and deployments.

- Automate ServiceNow instance configurations, updates, and patching.

- Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automated testing (unit, integration, system).

- Implement and manage source code control for ServiceNow applications and customizations.

- Configure and manage ServiceNow update sets and releases.

- Monitor ServiceNow instance performance and identify areas for optimization.

- Implement and manage ServiceNow instance backups and recovery processes.

- Collaborate with ServiceNow developers to improve development workflows and best practices.

- Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth deployments and minimal downtime.

- Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and tools.

- Research and evaluate new DevOps tools and technologies for ServiceNow.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our ServiceNow development and deployment processes.

Required Skills :

- 7+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a focus on DevOps.

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and development best practices.

- Extensive experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideRecord).

- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

- Specify preferred tools if any.

- Experience with source code control systems (Git).

- Experience with automated testing frameworks (ATF).

- Knowledge of ServiceNow update set management and release processes.

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow instance administration and performance tuning.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills (Optional) :

- ServiceNow System Administrator certification.

- ServiceNow Application Developer certification.

- Experience with other ITSM tools
