Job Description :
Responsibilities :
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Ensure on-time project completion by effectively managing project timelines and milestones.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes (translation into Japanese/English as required).
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Develop and implement risk management plans to minimize potential disruptions.
- Proactively address and resolve project issues and roadblocks.
- Estimate financial requirements, prepare project budgets, and manage expenditures.
- Track and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
- Handle changes to project expenses, scope, and schedule effectively.
- Maintain successful relationships with project owners, stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
- Act as a Relationship Manager from an IT Infrastructure perspective for assigned business groups.
- Closely coordinate vendor management of strategic projects and service engagements.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Manage service governance by closely coordinating with technical teams on policies and processes.
- Ensure adherence to IT service management (ITSM) best practices.
- Measure project success using appropriate tools and metrics.
- Conduct post-project reviews and identify lessons learned.
- Inform management of project proceedings as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Proven experience in Project / Program Management.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e. Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience in Technology Infrastructure delivery, preferably in an investment banking environment.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure concepts and technologies.
- Ability to coordinate with internal infrastructure functions for seamless delivery.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with global teams.
- Strong business relationship/client management skills.
- Ability to act as a Relationship Manager for assigned business groups.
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Flexible in work timings and willing to take on responsibility.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to drive actions to closure and take ownership of tasks.
- Experience in coordinating on vendor management of strategic projects and service engagements.
Special Requirements :
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Preferred.
Global Travel : Comfortable with international travel.
Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in project management software (Microsoft Project, Jira).
- Proficiency in communication and collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Slack).
- Proficiency in documentation tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Confluence)
