Key Responsibilities :

- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Red Hat OpenShift clusters and virtualization platforms.

- Monitoring and securing the health and performance of OpenShift environments.

- Designing strategies for scaling, redundancy, high availability, and disaster recovery.

- Facilitating application/database migrations and ensuring best practices.

- Automating tasks using tools like Ansible and Jenkins.

- Documentation of system setups, upgrades, and practices.

- Performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.

- Ensuring compliance with security policies and patch management.

- Supporting CI/CD pipelines and conducting performance tuning.

- Collaborating across IT teams and staying updated with the latest containerization technologies.

- Providing training and participating in on-call rotations for support.

Experience :

- Linux Administration

- OpenShift Administration

- Proficiency in VMware Virtualization, Linux, Windows, Networking, NSX-T, VRA, and OpenShift.

- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.

- Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef for automation.

- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., RHV, VMware, KVM).

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.

- Expertise in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).

- Proficiency in monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
