Role Contour: Lead end-to-end operations of merchant management for expansion of UPI /RUPay as a holistic payment tool/ option in the strategic merchant ecosystem.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute defined strategy for engaging with large strategic merchant partnerships & to drive identified collaboration opportunities in terms of interoperability.
- Create new opportunities and drive acceptance for global strategic accounts for UPI and RuPay
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic international partners, fostering strong relationships and facilitating communication.
- Drive the implementation of acceptance across key international merchants to enable RuPay & UPI.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of international merchants, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Responsible for improving Indian travellers experience across various key merchants & strategic partners
- Ensure project go live through rigorous tracking and working across NPCI & NIPL stakeholders.
- Understand the merchants, business, analyze their performance, market data based around NIPL offerings' usage and drive use cases development to implement relevant solutions on subsequent improvisation
- Drive overall expansion of key merchants and volume achievement by coordinating with the merchants and exploring efficient ways for enhancing value of collaboration
- Interact with several stakeholders, including merchants, acquirers and third-party agents to understand product issues.
- Ensure activation/ retention of merchants to achieve brand preference including initiatives related to product, marketing and technology
Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ Years of work experience in the International Merchant Relationships
- MBA from a reputed college
- Excellent in Advanced Excel & PPT presentations.
- Excellent team working, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills
- Must be good in problem solving, organization/relationship building skills.
- Must have worked with large international merchants and airlines.
