IT Hardware : Computing - C-DOT (Delhi)

Qualification:-

B.Tech (IT/CS/EC) / B.E (IT/CS/EC) with minimum 60 % throughout the academics.

Experience:-

Minimum 2 years Work experience in the administration and maintenance support of IT infra of Data Centres having production/field setups

Responsibilities and Skill sets

• Install, configure, update and maintain Linux based systems (RHEL), Windows Server including peripherals
• Install, configure, admin and maintenance of Local Networks
• Installation of Linux software packages and related configuration for Client/Server set-up
• Installation, configuration and administration of MySQL etc.Basic Troubleshooting of SAN and NAS access on Servers/VMs. Should be able to maintain Workstation, Desktops / Laptops
• Regular update of patches, Hot fixes, Virus signatures and updating related software
• Troubleshooting day-to-day problems related to working of Network on different types of OS viz., Linux, Windows, VMware etc.
• Providing Technical support to internal teams and external clients whenever required.
• Shall be able to manage and analyze Servers viz., Rack Mounting of Servers and related peripherals and shall ensure that all the computing h/w is providing it services.
• Should be able to ensure that the servers are secure, developing backup procedures, maintaining system integrity and optimizing server performance.
• Knowledge of different types of hypervisors viz., VMware, KVM, RHVM and Opensource oVirt etc and Cloud Technologies and DevOps.
• Understanding of respective hypervisor, to operate supporting functionality such as VM configuration, N/W configuration, migration and snapshots,
• Should possess soft skills viz., written communication, problem solving acumen, analytical and time management skills including team work. Rely on soft skills such teamwork and communication skills to be successful in various work environments.
• Capable to support production systems/field deployments.
