Role - Chief of Staff

The India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) is looking for a dynamic Chief of Staff (CoS) who will be instrumental in optimizing the time, information flow, and decision-making processes to ensure the overall productivity of the Program for Development of Semiconductor & Manufacturing Ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Take stock of minutes of meetings and actively work towards streamlining agendas.
2. Facilitate investments in semiconductor design and manufacturing by enabling collaboration/partnerships with the leaders in the global semiconductor industry.
3. Operate with situational sensitivity to enable faster and more effective decision-making.
4. Simplify complex tasks and effectively manage teams by delegating work.
5. Operationalize the life cycle of an idea from conception to execution.
6. Display exemplary project management skills including but not limited to mapping out timelines for a project, assessing risks and opportunities, and trouble-shooting problems and challenges.
7. Connecting and communicating periodically and succinctly with different departments to prevent silos and enable free flow of information.
8. Anticipate challenges and diplomatically dispose of issues.
9. Ensure significant value addition by providing strategic inputs to the CEO for achieving the vision and objectives of the mission.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Masters degree in Electronics Engineering/ Management/ Policy with passion to deliver results.
2. 5-8 years experience in the field of Semiconductor Technology/strategy and consulting in the field of Semiconductor Technology.
3. Deep understanding of the global semiconductor industry, including but not limited to: Semiconductor products, Semiconductor manufacturing, Semiconductor Research and Global supply chain
4. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and soft skills with fast-paced decision-making while advising leadership teams.
5. Strong networking skills with an ability to identify, engage and build sustainable relationships. A strong network in the domestic and global semiconductor industry will be an added advantage.
6. Must possess outstanding organizational abilities such as planning and strategy-building skills.
7. Strong time-management skills with the proclivity to dedicatedly follow guidelines and abide by strict timelines.
8. Should be well versed with Microsoft Office Suite
9. Can perform with the highest level of ethics and integrity
