Job Title: Chief of Staff
Reports to: ED and Chairman
Job Overview:
The Chief of Staff is responsible for assisting the ED and other senior leaders in strategic planning, project management, and day- to- day operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring alignment across the organization, streamlining communication, and driving key initiatives to completion. The CoS serves as a trusted advisor, representing leadership in various internal and external contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support: Act as a key advisor to the ED, ensuring their time is focused on high- priority areas and the organization's strategic goals.
- Project Management: Lead or coordinate critical projects, ensuring they are aligned with organizational priorities and are completed on time and within budget.
- Cross- Department Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration between different teams and departments to drive organizational alignment and efficiency.
- Executive Support: Manage key initiatives on behalf of the ED, assist with decision- making, and represent them in meetings when necessary.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, ensuring clear communication and follow- through on strategic initiatives.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and implement effective processes across the organization.
- Problem Solving: Serve as a point of escalation for issues that require senior- level attention, developing solutions in collaboration with the leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role (typically 5+ years in management, operations, or strategy).
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional problem- solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast- paced, ever- changing environment.
- Experience in building cross- functional relationships and managing complex initiatives.
- A deep understanding of organizational operations, culture, and strategy.
