Consultant-Silicon CMOS Semiconductors (SFP, MeitY)

Job Description:

• Advise on policy initiatives required to facilitate investments in Semiconductor domain.
• Advocacy and promotion of Semiconductors policy
• Provide implementation support for the "Programme for development of Semiconductors and Display manufacturing ecosystem in India along with any other activities / work related to semiconductor policy matters.
• Engage with global semiconductor companies, government stakeholders, industry, academia, and experts for facilitating semiconductor manufacturing in India
• Assessing market trends, competitors and identifying opportunities for the development semiconductor ecosystem in India.
• Advice on Talent Development and Capacity Building under Semicon India Programme
• Matters related to resilient semiconductor supply chain with QUAD countries

Essential Qualification:

• Masters in Microelectronics / relevant engineering field from premier institute.
• Minimum 5-years of relevant industrial / academic experience.
• Candidates with Ph.D. degree, work experience will not be required.
• Ability to work in teams and independently take responsibility of delivering results.
• Exposure of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong coordination, communication, research and analytical skills.
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and Power-Point.

Preferred Qualification

• Ph.D. in Microelectronics / relevant engineering field (for candidates with Ph.D. qualification, work experience requirements will be relaxed).
