Nurse Educator / Clinical Instructor

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for staff induction, orientation and training process
• Identify and initiate professional growth of Staff Nurse, In-Charge by providing continuous nursing service education and in-service education programs
• Daily Clinical rounds to identify essential competencies within the Department of Nursing and ensure an appropriate preceptor/preceptee system to promote newly joined staff, growth and development
• Using Evidence-Based practice to improve patient care and nursing strategies
• Monitor the quality of Nursing care by reviewing documentation and investigation all practice concer
• Participate in organizational and unit based quality improvement activities and provide input on standards of care
• Assure the nursing policies, procedures and operating practices, comply with the standards set by the Hospital and Regulatory bodies
• Maintain and liaise between the Nursing Services and other Departments to ensure coordination for optimal patient care
• Apply advance knowledge regarding Clinical matters, serving as a role model and resource
• Facilitate smooth operations among the multidisciplinary team through networking and relationship building
• Provide timely Counselling to the Staff Nurses on a Day-to-Day basis
• Improving nursing practices by structuring processes to ensure Continuous Quality Improvement and Patient Safety
• Keep abreast of new technological developments in Nursing and Healthcare
