Job Description
- Identifying needs: Identifying professional development needs for nursing staff
- Develop lesson plans
- Incorporate training programs and curriculam based on their research into best practices and regulations ,patient treatment plans and nursing practices.
- Mentor: Serve as mentor to nurses and help them in professional development
- Teaching: Teaching nurses and trainee-nurses about the skills and knowledge needed to provide care
- Evaluating: Evaluating students through examinations, assignments, and clinical settings
Qualification for Nurse Educator :
- They may also need to have a masters or doctoral degree in nursing, a Certified Nurse Education certification, a Registered Nursing License, and a strong clinical background.
- Clinical educators often have strong organizational and leadership skills, and may work with undergraduate or graduate students.
- Previous experience of at least 3 years in clinical teaching required with 3 years of Registered Staff Nurse experience in different departments of 100+ bedded hospital.
- Strong communication (written/verbal) skills and ability to explain is critical.
- Must be digital savvy.
