Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility
Nasscoms Industry Partnership Program (NIPP) connects innovative startups with leading corporates to foster open innovation and accelerate growth. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying, evaluating, and nurturing promising startups, while building strong relationships with corporate partners.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced program manager to join our team that manages Nasscom Industry Partnership Program (NIPP). The ideal candidate will possess a strong tech background, communication skills, client management and a proven track record of success in identifying, evaluating, and engaging promising startups. You will play a pivotal role in nurturing a vibrant startup ecosystem and running Open Innovation initiative with corporates. The role will include:
Drive the identification and evaluation of high-potential startups, providing them with guidance, mentorship, and access to resources to foster their growth within the NIPP ecosystem. This includes conducting thorough due diligence on startups, tracking their progress, and ensuring their success.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, understanding their innovation needs and challenges. This involves planning, executing, and monitoring partnership programs to ensure timely delivery of deliverables and facilitating smooth communication and collaboration between startups and corporate partners.
Continuously improve NIPPs engagement strategies by gathering and analyzing feedback from startups and corporate partners. This includes staying abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and the evolving startup landscape to enhance program effectiveness.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience
Education : Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Experience : 4-5 years of professional experience in client management, startup engagement, business development, or a relevant role within the tech industry.
Startup Ecosystem Expertise : In-depth knowledge of the startup ecosystem, including startup curation, evaluation, and engagement processes.
Technical Communication Skills
:
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences (startups and corporate partners).
Analytical Relationship Building Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners.
