Job Description

A Manager on Duty (MOD) is a supervisory role responsible for overseeing daily operations in various settingssuch as retail storeshospitality establishmentsor community centers. The MOD ensures that the facility operates smoothlymaintains high standards of customer serviceand addresses any issues that arise during their shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight: Manage daily operationsincluding opening and closing proceduresfacility maintenanceand ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.

Customer Service: Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer servicepromptly addressing customer inquiriesconcernsand complaints to ensure satisfaction.

Staff Supervision: Monitor staff performanceprovide guidanceand ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Problem Resolution: Handle emergenciesresolve conflictsand make decisions to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

Reporting: Document incidentsmaintenance issuesand other relevant occurrencesand communicate them to appropriate management.

Qualifications:

Proven leadership and team-building skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Flexibility to work various shiftsincluding evenings and weekends.

Experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred
