Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales targets and objectives for the assigned area.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share.
• Manage and expand the distributor and retailer network.
• Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and sales trends.
• Ensure proper execution of sales promotions and trade marketing activities.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the supply chain for timely product delivery.
• Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team to enhance performance and productivity.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners.
• Prepare sales reports, analyze performance, and provide insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of the local market, areas, and customer preferences.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead a sales team and drive results.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and sales reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented.
