Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth in the assigned area.
• Develop and execute General Trade (GT) sales strategies.
• Manage distributor and retailer networks for optimal performance.
• Ensure product availability and visibility in GT outlets.
• Implement trade promotions, schemes, and marketing activities.
• Expand market presence by identifying new opportunities and markets.
• Monitor distributor stock, claims, and payments.
• Lead, train, and motivate the sales team for high performance.
• Conduct regular market visits to ensure execution excellence.
• Analyze competitor activities and provide market insights.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree (MBA preferred).
• 6-8 years of FMCG sales experience with 3+ years in GT management.

• Strong expertise in General Trade operations and distributor management.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Office and sales tools.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
