We are looking for a project/program manager to join our project management team. The ideal candidate should have experience in different project management methodologies (waterfall, scrum and kanban), bug tracking systems like JIRA and Azure DevOps, and project management tools like Asana and Monday. We are looking for someone familiar with modern tools and who has a strong foundation in basic project management principles. We are looking for someone ambitious. You should able to visualize yourself as a future COO (chief operating officer) of a software product company.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day coordination, support, and coaching to the team to encourage adoption of Scaled Agile Framework best-practices.
• Develops and implements PMO processes and policies, directs project management staff, and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs.
• Understand resourcing capacity across your program teams, and align cross-functional team members on attainable product roadmap milestones. Maintain project plans and resource allocations that allow for quick and efficient understanding of resource capacity.
• Maintain metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on scrum progress and quality, including capacity allocations and team velocity.
• Create reports and provide product development dashboards to management and senior leadership.
• Drive team velocity through process improvements, test-driven development and DevOps practices.
• Be the ER (our internal tool equivalent to Jira and Linear) manager, having ownership of setup and improvements.
• Ideate and execute improvements to our SDLC continuously. Work with peers in Dev, QA and Product to implement the changes.

Key Skills:

• 4-6 years experience delivering large scale complex IT projects and programs for the business.
• Skilled in PMBOK and Agile methodologies
• Experience with modern project management tools such as SmartSheet, Asana, Monday etc..
• Good understanding of latest web and mobile technologies, database design and APIs. Hands-on experience with coding is a plus.
• Exemplary verbal and written communications skills
