Job Brief :
As a Head of Product, you will get to work closely with the business to identify product ideas and ideate and work towards their launches and be a key part of a team that will define and develop products and experiences that transform education in India. They need a thought leader who can Lead a product strategy & define a product roadmap that balances consumer, business, and technical priorities. However as in all startups, you should be hands on both in terms of approach and implementation and have a very strong tech background.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, validate and prioritize customer and business needs using product research methodologies to deliver new revenue opportunities, while building new innovative experiences that will delight consumers.
- Obsessively map the user journey and find creative ways to improve it; making it more delightful and responsive to the user's needs.
- Build consensus across our team, internal stakeholders and with external partners
- Direct and guide the software product vision, communicate to the cross-functional team, and evolve it based on interactions with customers as the solution is developed
- Set performance metrics for the most important functions of the products and work with the team to measure and achieve them.
- Experience with leading the entire product lifecycle
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality output within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
- Lead a product management team in which you motivate and achieve steady improvements in your area
- Lead the research and analysis for our products by gathering data, diving deep into customer experiences, and prototyping solutions.
- At least 8 years of experience in the field of product management, preferably with some experience in B2B SaaS.
- Proven track record in rapidly scaling the product portfolio in a technology organization.
- Develop short- and long-term plans, analyse market research findings, prepare budget, evaluate inventory requirements, design promotional campaigns, integrate management inputs to establish the strategic -direction of the product in terms of profit, sales, market share, growth, desired market positioning.
- Plan strategies, evaluate factors for effective branding of the product
- Optimize pricing based on market price dynamics; facilitate adaptation of product packaging to local setting; manage product life cycle in view of initiatives for new indications, extensions, modifications, and other life cycle strategies.
