MTAP Technologies - Senior Software Engineer - Java (4-5 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, designers, QA) to deliver high-quality software.

- Troubleshoot and debug software issues.

- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.

- Take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to completion.

- Contribute to the improvement of software development processes and best practices.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java. Experience with JavaScript and other web-based technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.

- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, or other Java frameworks is a plus.

- Experience with server-side technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails) is a plus.

- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is preferred.

- Proficiency in Git and Git workflows is essential.

Education & Experience :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
