Server Engineer - VMware Infrastructure (4-5 yrs)

Job Description :

1. Degree in Technology / Computers / Information Technology / Networking e.g. B.Tech." with relevant certification and 4+ years of experience

2. Familiar of blade, rack servers and SAN storage for monitoring, management and troubleshooting of hardware

3. Expertise in SAN storage integration with blade and rack server for managing/trouble shooting of SAN storage replication at cross sites specially with respect to MEGH infra

4. Expertise in SAN based replication and monitoring of the same

5. Full-Fledged hands on experience in ESXI and vSphere along up to extent of log analysis of vSphere components

6. Expertise in VMware ARIA for vRA and vRO deployment with custom requirements for day-to-day operations

7. Expertise in VMware operations for building and managing custom dashboards and monitoring options

8. Expertise in troubleshooting of VMware components to reduce the downtime

9. Expertise in LOG analysis using VMware log insight for back tracing the traffic generated by other components of vmware at vRLI

10. Expertise for implementation of best and custom security requirements of all the components of cloud

11. Expertise in custom report and dashboard generation using the logs of cRLI for advanced log analysis

12. Engineers shall maintain the logbook for each activity being performed with details of the issue and of solution being implemented

13. RE shall be familiar with OEM TAC support case logging and coordination for faster resolution of the issues

14. RE shall have adequate skills and expertise over the components to operate without internet on requirement

Mandatory Requirement :

1. Good Knowledge of VMware infrastructure, including virtual machines, ESXi hosts, vCenter servers, and networking component

2. Basic Knowledge of VMware vRealize Suite, vRLI, vRA,vRO,cRLI

3. Good Knowledge of FC and iSCSI SAN experience

4. Basic knowledge of configuration of VMware Virtual Infrastructure solutions.

5. Good Knowledge of Patching, Firmware updation, Hardware troubleshooting

6. Expert in understanding of technology and follow up with OEM TAC support.

7. Able to operate without internet
