Job Description :

1. L3 Administration of Windows and Vmware, Windows/ESXi patching

2. Strong working knowledge on various windows components like AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO and troubleshooting

3. Must have exposure to datacenter operations if needed to boot up physical machine in case of hardware issues.

4. Understanding of Physical server and Dell (iDrac) remote console issue troubleshooting

5. Responsible for implementing, supporting and troubleshooting the upgrades of datacenters built

6. Extensive knowledge on Vmware ESXi 6.7/7.0 configuration, management, troubleshooting and upgrades

7. Knowledge in switching, VLAN and Teaming

8. Proficiency in VMware guest, templates, P2V, Capacity planner, vMotion, DRS, HA, etc.

9. Addressing all infra related vulnerabilities in timely fashion by installing security patches and bug fixes

10. Knowledge of core internet protocol, SMTP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS

11. Basic working knowledge of SAN/NAS storage systems.

12. Drive customer escalated issues to closure by providing workarounds and fixes in a timely manner.

13. Should be a team player with excellent problem-solving skills.

14. Ability to manage/handle severity 2/3 tickets on priority and support on call 24-7

15. Providing technical support and documenting vmware processes

16. Follow incident, problem, crisis and change management process.
