Role: AWS Channel Manager Based at Offshore
As part of the AWS Channel Team at Mphasis reporting to the Global AWS Channel Lead , this role requires the incumbent to work in close partnership with AWS Partnership and Business teams Globally. The role involves interacting with various AWS stakeholders including Sales, Partnership, Marketing, and Solution Architecture teams to lead alliance efforts. This involves closely collaborating with the Mphasis sales, solutions, cloud business, tribe, and marketing teams.
The key responsibilities include:
- Executing the AWS channel strategy and go-to-market plan by aligning internal Mphasis sales teams and AWS sales teams. This includes conducting joint account workshops, building pipeline, and driving incremental growth for the AWS channel business.
- Forging strong relationships with AWS stakeholders, understanding AWS processes, and leveraging them to benefit Mphasis. A critical success metric is retaining Mphasis' Premier Partner status and attaining targeted competencies.
- Managing AWS Partner Network (APN) activities such as enabling Mphasis sales teams to register leads and opportunities in the Amazon Client Engagement (ACE) platform. Ensuring ACE compliance for Premier partnership status.
- Overseeing AWS funding mechanisms like Partner Opportunity Acceleration (POA), Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), and Marketing Development Funds (MDF). Proactively planning and managing the utilization of these funds.
- Driving AWS training and enablement programs for Mphasis teams. Facilitating the pursuit of new AWS competencies by working with Mphasis tribes, business, and AWS teams.
- Spearheading joint AWS and Mphasis marketing and alliance activities such as re:Invent participation, regional events, webinars, and content creation.
Skill required:
- Understanding of AWS partner ecosystem or other partner ecosystems , programs, and go-to-market models.
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement capabilities to align cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinking and execution prowess to develop and implement effective channel growth strategies.
- Analytical and project management skills to optimize channel performance and drive complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Understanding of cloud technologies coupled with strong business acumen and commercial awareness.

I got good colleagues who are friendly and always ready to help.
They hired me saying it's hybrid module but since you are new you will have to work from office for 3 months. Then once i joined, they asked me to work from office for 6 months. Now i completed 6 months, they are saying they will not allow hybrid module at all. Fake promises was made while hiring.
