BI Lead (Business Intelligence & CleverTap) - D2C Industry

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced BI Lead with a strong background in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and CleverTap to drive data-driven decision-making and customer engagement strategies. The ideal candidate will analyze customer behavior, optimize marketing campaigns, and develop insightful dashboards to improve acquisition, retention, and revenue growth in our D2C business.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Intelligence & Data Strategy:

• Design and manage BI dashboards and reports to track key D2C metrics such as CAC, LTV, conversion rates, churn, and retention.
• Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to turn raw data into actionable insights.
• Optimize data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility.
• Use SQL, Python, or R to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.

CleverTap Analytics & User Engagement:

• Implement and optimize CleverTap for customer segmentation, behavior analysis, and retention strategies.
• Track and improve customer journey mapping, conversion funnels, and campaign performance.
• Set up and analyze A/B tests to measure the impact of campaigns and product features.
• Leverage Cohort Analysis, RFM Segmentation, and Predictive Analytics to enhance customer retention.

Data Visualization & Reporting:

• Develop real-time dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar tools to track KPIs.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership to improve sales, customer engagement, and marketing ROI.
• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

• Work closely with growth marketing, performance marketing, product, CRM, and customer success teams to align data insights with business goals.
• Act as the data champion within the organization, ensuring teams leverage analytics for decision-making.
• Train internal teams on data-driven methodologies and CleverTap best practices.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with BI & Analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Google Data Studio).
• Expertise in SQL and ETL processes for data extraction and transformation.
• Hands-on experience with CleverTap for behavioral analytics and campaign tracking.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Firebase, or similar tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or other cloud-based data warehouses is preferred.
• Understanding of customer segmentation, churn prediction, and retention analytics.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced D2C startup environment and manage multiple projects.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for understanding consumer behavior and engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certifications in CleverTap, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Analytics are a plus.
• Prior experience in E-commerce, D2C, or Consumer Brands is highly preferred.
