Skills and Competencies
* Relevant tax experience; specifically related to CIT and VAT
* An understanding of US GAAP would be advantageous
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of a major financial system, SAP would be advantageous
* Working knowledge of various technology tools like Blackline, Alteryx, Power BI, Power Query would be advantageous

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills, analytic skills, and attention to detail
* Self-starter and pro-active approach
Ability to meet tight deadlines

Education
* CA / CPA with 2-4 years of post-qualification tax experience (preferably with a major accounting firm or a large multinational company or shared service centre)

Responsibilities
The focus of the role is to support the EMEA tax team on tax matters including but not limited to Corporate Income tax (CIT), VAT and WHT. The role is based in Gurgaon, India. The position offers a good opportunity for a candidate with a keen interest in tax to be involved in a wide range of issues, covering EMEA countries.
* Support the EMEA team in London with preparation of quarterly calculations of current and deferred tax provisions for US GAAP reporting. Support with reconciliation of Quarter End and Year End tax packages
* Assist with the provision of financial information required for the preparation of CIT and VAT related filings across the whole of EMEA.
* Assist with day-to-day VAT and WHT queries from other departments, including preparation of WHT certificates/forms
* Work closely with ERP team on tax related configurations/reporting matters in SAP/Vertex
* Preparation of PAYE Settlement Agreements for companies in the UK group
* Upkeep of the Compliance calendar and Tax payments schedules
* Assist the EMEA Tax Department as required with ad-hoc projects including tax research and other initiatives.
* Reconciliation of balances and / or movement as per books with the tax returns.
