Operational Rigor and Process Improvement: Assist with operational improvement projects and contribute to planning, execution, and progress tracking to ensure successful outcomes Help establishment integration of an Operational Control framework, including the design implement control structures, governance, measures interpreting policy standards requirements to proactively implement a best-in-class control environment Help assess the operational controls aspects of potential new processes across Commercial Operations Implement and maintain an effective Operational Risk framework. Help assess emerging/material risks, identify trends and remediate control issues Proven experience in the design testing of controls; proven experience in a Control Risk frameworks Develop implement Operational Control analytics to identify risks measure the controls
Education 10 years or more relevant experience in operational controls, risk and audit, with preference of experience in international organizations or financial institute Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification would be highly valuable Any Risk or Audit certification nice to have Excellent organizational, communication, documentation and project management skills Strong people management skills. Excellent leadership and influencing abilities including the ability to drive innovation and change in a constantly evolving environment
Responsibilities
The AVP Operational Controls, part of the Operational Governance team, supports the Commercial Operation Governance lead. This role involves delivering executive controls reporting and interacting with senior management. Key responsibilities include developing internal control practices, ensuring controls and process disciplines are maintained, and enhancing governance through metrics reporting, risk assessment, quality assurance, and root cause analysis. The role also involves creating dashboards and reports on key KPIs, fostering continuous improvement, and enhancing customer experience within regulatory standards.
