Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Talend Data Integration Developer to join our team on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL workflows and data pipelines using Talend Data Integration.

You will collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions.

Your role will also involve ensuring data quality, security, and efficient integration from various data sources, including cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines using Talend Data Integration.

- Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand and translate data requirements into actionable solutions.

- Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Implement data transformation, validation, and governance best practices to ensure data quality, accuracy, and security.

- Integrate data from multiple sources such as databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud platforms.

- Design and implement error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms for data pipelines.

- Provide support for production deployments and assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution when needed.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for data workflows, mappings, and system configurations.

- Stay up to date on industry trends, Talend product updates, and emerging technologies to enhance the quality of data solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience with Salesforce Data Migration using Talend.

- Proficiency in Talend Open Studio or Talend Data Integration with 4-7 years of experience.

- Strong understanding of ETL principles, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.

- Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience working with relational databases (e.g, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).

- Familiarity with APIs, RESTful services, and handling data formats like JSON/XML.

- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.

- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g, Git) and experience in CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in cloud-based data integration and analytics solutions.

- Familiarity with data governance and data security best practices.
