Data Strategy Architect - ETL/Talend (7-9 yrs)

Role : Sr. Data Strategy Architect.

Key Requirements :

- Expertise in data migration, including Salesforce and other CRM systems.

- Ability to understand the complexity of data migration and guide clients on what's required for a smooth process.

- Strong experience in data strategy, mapping, and transformation.

- Excellent communication skills to work closely with clients and manage expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Assess complex data migration scenarios, including those involving Salesforce and other CRM systems.

- Develop comprehensive data migration strategies, outlining timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation plans.

- Identify potential data quality issues and propose solutions to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

- Create detailed data mapping documents to define the relationships between source and target systems.

- Develop data transformation rules and scripts to ensure accurate data conversion and migration.

- Collaborate with technical teams to implement data transformation processes using appropriate tools and technologies.

- Implement robust data quality checks and validation procedures to identify and rectify data inconsistencies.

- Monitor data migration progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

- Conduct post-migration data validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity.

- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Manage client expectations and address their concerns throughout the data migration process.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in data migration, with a strong focus on Salesforce and other CRM systems.

- Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

- Proficiency in data mapping and transformation tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data-related challenges.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

- Experience working in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Data Architecture and Management Designer)

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Knowledge of data governance and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
