HR Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and organizational goals.
• Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and ensure accuracy in payroll and benefits administration.
• Handle employee queries related to HR policies, compensation, and benefits.
• Oversee performance management processes, including appraisals, goal-setting, and feedback sessions.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, training programs, and employee recognition events.
• Address employee grievances and disciplinary actions while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Stay updated on labor law changes and ensure the organizations HR policies comply with them.
• Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding processes.
• Prepare HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Preferred candidate profile

• Holds a Masters degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Has 3-5 years of experience in HR roles, with a proven track record in recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations.
• Familiar with labor laws and regulations specific to the region or industry.
• Proficient in using HRIS and payroll systems to streamline HR processes.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle employee concerns empathetically.
• Experienced in conducting performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
• Shows a proactive approach to problem-solving and can handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
• Preferably has experience working in Pharma or related sector
• Exhibits excellent organizational and multitasking skills, ensuring timely completion of HR tasks.
