Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Domestic Sales Head to lead and drive sales operations for IT services and software solutions in both government and private sectors across India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and achieving revenue targets while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate the government and private markets.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within government departments, public sector units (PSUs), and private enterprises.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities in the areas of Enterprise level Solutions, IT Products and customized applications, website development, digital marketing, and mobile app development.
  • Building associations/ partners and doing cold calling For Govt. And Private sector organizations.
  • Engaging with clients to understand their business needs and proposing relevant solutions.
  • Responsible for Client meeting, Giving Presentation, Product Demonstration, Making Proposals, & Negotiation
  • Engage with key decision-makers, including executives, IT heads, and procurement teams, to pitch IT solutions and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, agencies, and industry leaders.
  • Manage end-to-end tendering processes for government projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to create winning proposals, RFPs, and RFIs.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements while ensuring profitability and risk mitigation.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets by driving sales in both sectors.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead high-impact presentations and demonstrations to showcase IT and software solutions.
  • Build, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
  • Provide direction and support to sales executives & managers to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
  • Collaborate with product, delivery, and support teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage complete end to end sales cycle for domestic closures.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance reviews.
  • Use CRM tools to track progress, manage leads, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales strategies and outcomes.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, IT, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of selling IT services and software solutions and also Audio visual solutions with Displays to government and private sectors in India.
  • In-depth knowledge of government procurement processes and private sector dynamics.
  • Strong network of contacts in relevant industries and government organizations.
  • Knowledge and experience on GEM/CPPP and other government and private portals.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
  • Team Handling Capability with motivational skills to uplift the team and support them I all respects to achieve targets.
  • Training skills to train new team members on solutions and IT services.

Work Location

  • Noida, with frequent travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
