Business Development Officer

Description:

This position reports to the directors and interacts with company managers. Mirzapur Rugs is committed to customer-satisfaction in the area of luxury home decor products that emphasizes empowerment, quality, continuous improvement, and ongoing development in new business areas. The candidate would be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with customers, evaluate existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn't, manage key client relationships and works to build new ones, lead sales, marketing, customer-service, and client relationship management team, develop and strengthen internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share, track emerging markets and trends, helps to shape the company's long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them, travel to customer location, meetings and sites.

Education & Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
2. Master's degree in Business Administration / Marketing is a plus.
3. 4-8 years of sales or marketing experience with 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience.
4. Experience in Architecture / Interior Design Industry is a must.
