Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive our growth initiatives and expand our client base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the accounting and advisory sector, demonstrating a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to cultivate long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities by leveraging existing relationships and establishing new partnerships.
2. Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats within the accounting and advisory industry.
3. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve organizational objectives and revenue targets.
4. Client Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services.
5. Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored proposals and presentations for prospective clients, showcasing our firm's expertise and value proposition.
6. Networking: Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and seminars to enhance visibility and build a robust network of contacts.
7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, finance, and consulting teams to align business development strategies with broader organizational goals.
8. Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
2. Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in business development within the accounting and advisory sector.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
4. Strong understanding of the accounting and advisory industry landscape, trends, and competitive dynamics.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
6. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.
7. Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
