Translator (Spanish- English)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spanish-English Translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately translating written and spoken content between Spanish and English while maintaining the original meaning, tone, and context. The translator should have a deep understanding of cultural nuances, industry-specific terminology, and grammatical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate documents, reports, websites, marketing materials, and other content from Spanish to English and vice versa.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness of translated content.
• Conduct research to verify terminology and industry-specific jargon.
• Collaborate with team members to refine translations and ensure clarity.
• Proofread and edit translations to maintain high-quality standards.
• Meet deadlines while handling multiple translation projects.
• Assist in verbal translations and interpretation if needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Spanish-English Translator or similar role
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English, with strong grammar and writing skills in both languages.
• Certification in the Spanish language (at least Formal certification preferred).
• Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Foreign Languages, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in business translation.
• Certification in translation ( B2 certification) is mandatory.
• Previous experience in interpretation or simultaneous translation is advantageous.
