Event Production Manager

Role & responsibilities

Position Overview: As an Event Production Manager in an event management firm, your role will be to oversee and manage the production aspects of various events. You will be responsible for coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of events.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Technical Production:

- Collaborate with clients and event planning teams to understand event objectives, technical requirements, and production needs.

- Develop comprehensive event production plans, including stage design, lighting, audio-visuals, and technical equipment.

- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source and secure required production elements.

Vendor and Resource Management:

- Identify and select vendors, contractors, and production partners based on event requirements and budget.

- Coordinate and schedule production resources, including equipment, staffing, and technical crew.- Ensure proper allocation and efficient utilization of resources throughout the event.

Technical Setup and Execution:

- Manage all aspects of technical setup, including staging, lighting, sound and video.

- Oversee load-in and load-out processes, ensuring equipment and materials are properly installed and dismantled.

- Coordinate and direct technical crew and production teams during rehearsals and live events.

- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to ensure uninterrupted event operations.

Health and Safety Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards during event production.

- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate safety measures for production activities.

- Respond to emergencies and incidents swiftly and effectively, prioritizing the well-being of attendees, staff, and crew.
