Cloud FinOps Engineer (4-5 yrs)

Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Cloud FinOps Engineer to collaborate with engineering, product, and finance teams to optimize cloud costs and establish robust FinOps governance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public cloud operating models, cost reporting, and financial modeling.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with internal teams and cloud providers to manage and optimize hosting costs.

- Develop and implement cost visibility reports and dashboards using cloud-native and third-party tools.

- Monitor cost anomalies in large-scale, complex architectures.

- Partner with finance teams to manage production budgets and forecasts.

- Create financial models to assess the TCO of products and projects.

- Stay updated on FinOps methodologies and cloud cost optimization best practices.

Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience as a Cloud FinOps Engineer or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, containers, and microservices.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

- AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification preferred.

- FinOps Certified Practitioner or Engineer certification is a plus.
