Blazeclan Technologies - Cloud FinOps Specialist (6-10 yrs)

As a Cloud FinOps Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing cloud costs, ensuring financial accountability, and driving cost-efficiency across cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP.

You will collaborate with engineering, finance, and business teams to provide insights, improve cloud usage efficiency, and implement cost-saving strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze and optimize cloud costs across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

- Develop and implement cloud financial management strategies to enhance cost efficiency.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure best practices in resource allocation and cost control.

- Monitor and generate reports on cloud spend, usage patterns, and forecasting.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities, including reserved instances, savings plans, and rightsizing.

- Establish and enforce governance policies for cloud cost management.

- Work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate cloud cost allocation and budgeting.

- Provide recommendations for automation to improve cost efficiency.

- Stay updated on cloud pricing models, discounts, and new cost management features.

Skills and Qualifications :

- 6-10 years of experience in Cloud FinOps or Cloud Cost Management.

- Expertise in cloud cost optimization for AWS, Azure, and GCP.

- Strong knowledge of cloud pricing models, billing structures, and cost-saving mechanisms.

- Experience with FinOps tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, GCP Billing, or third-party tools (e.g, CloudHealth, CloudCheckr, Apptio Cloudability).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to communicate financial insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Certification in FinOps, AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
