Senior Executive - Learning & Development

Training Needs Analysis : Conduct thorough assessments to identify the learning and development requirements of different departments and job roles within the organization. Gather feedback from stakeholders to determine skill gaps and training priorities. Program Design and Development : Develop comprehensive learning programs and initiatives that align with organizational goals and objectives. Utilize various instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create engaging and effective training content. Training Delivery : Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and other learning activities for employees at all levels. Utilize a variety of training methods, including in-person sessions, virtual classrooms, e-learning platforms, and blended learning approaches. Learning Management Systems : Manage the learning management system (LMS) and other training platforms, ensuring that training materials are accessible, up to date, and effectively utilized. Monitor learner progress, track training completion, and generate reports on training effectiveness. Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with department heads, subject matter experts, and senior leaders to gather input, ensure training content relevance, and secure buy-in for learning initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor on learning and development matters. Vendor Management : Evaluate external training vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee the delivery of outsourced training programs when necessary. Maintain relationships with training providers and stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Evaluation and Continuous Improvement : Develop and implement methods to assess the effectiveness of learning programs, gather feedback from participants, and measure the impact on individual and organizational performance. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve the quality and relevance of training initiatives. Learning Culture Promotion : Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization. Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to integrate learning into performance management processes, talent development initiatives, and career progression frameworks. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience (X years) in designing and delivering learning and development programs, preferably in a corporate environment. Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and training evaluation methods. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms. Experience in LMS administration is desirable. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage learners and deliver impactful training sessions. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, collaborate with stakeholders, and influence others.
