Job Title: Packaging Procurement Executive/Engineer

Job Summary:

The Packaging Procurement Executive/Engineer is responsible for managing the procurement of packaging materials. This role ensures that all packaging materials meet the company's quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement and Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply on time always with required quantity and quality with proper documentation.
• Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all packaging materials meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
• Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising on quality.
• Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and innovations in packaging to keep the company competitive.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Packaging. Having certification in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is added advantage.
• Proven experience in procurement, preferably in packaging from a toy industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software (SAP MM).
