Role & Responsibilities
A. Invoice Booking and Payment Processing:
1.Oversee and ensure the accurate booking of invoices in the system, working closely with the finance department.
2.Manage the timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
3.Lead accounts payable department to optimize payment schedules, improve cash flow, and resolve discrepancies.
B. SAP Development and System Enhancement:
1.Lead the development and optimization of SAP (or other ERP systems) to enhance workflow automation.
2.Work closely with IT teams to ensure that SAP modules support procurement needs, from purchase requisitions to invoice approvals.
3.Drive the continuous improvement of procurement systems, leveraging technology for greater efficiency and transparency.
4.Ensure integration of SAP with retail-specific modules for seamless operations and reporting.
C. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
1.Collaborate with various internal teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to streamline procurement processes across departments.
2.Provide actionable insights to senior leadership on procurement trends, risks, and opportunities.
3.Work closely with store operations to align procurement with retail floor needs, ensuring stock availability and timely deliveries.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
1.Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
2.Drive training initiatives focused on SAP development, retail-specific procurement, and supplier management.
3.Monitor team performance and implement KPIs to ensure procurement goals align with broader retail business objectives.
5. Sourcing and Vendor Management:
1.Lead sourcing and supplier selection, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms.
2.Oversee vendor contracts, and agreements.
3.Evaluate supplier performance using metrics such as price, quality, and on-time delivery.
4.Resolve disputes with suppliers and ensure all procurement activities are compliant with company policies.
