Job Description: Regional Head - HR
Location: Mumbai
Reporting to: Regional Head - West and Head of Corporate HR

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Partner with the Regional Head-West and Corporate HR to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Drive regional workforce planning, talent acquisition, and organizational design for optimal efficiency and scalability.
Productivity and Goal Setting:
- Establish productivity norms and KPIs across retail stores, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Implement goal-setting frameworks to enhance individual and team performance.
Culture and People Transformation:
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, accountability, and high performance across the region.
- Drive people transformation initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development.
Talent Management and Succession Planning:
- Identify, develop, and execute talent moves within the region, ensuring the right people are in the right roles.
- Implement robust succession planning strategies for critical roles.
Staffing and Structure Optimization:
- Review and optimize staffing structures across 500+ retail stores for operational excellence.
- Collaborate with business leaders to design efficient and sustainable workforce models.
Compliance and HR Operations:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, HR policies, and ethical practices across the region.
- Lead the implementation of HR systems and processes to streamline operations.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Education: MBA in HR or equivalent from a premier or well-recognized institution.
Experience: 12-18 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in the retail industry, managing large teams and operations.
Expertise: Proven track record in productivity norms, goal setting, culture building, people transformation, talent mobility, and staffing structures.
Competencies:
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to drive data-backed decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Diversity Focus: Preference for diversity candidates with a deep understanding of the retail sector's dynamics.
