Purpose of the Role
This role is a significant strategic and leadership role within the People function and heads the west region for all the business divisions.
The role-holder will head the People Function Business Partnering for West region for all the business divisions. Partner with the RBH to design & deliver the people strategy. The role holder is expected to be the architect of culture, employee champion, ER & Compliance custodian and trusted advisor.
People Strategy:
- Develop and implement people strategies that align with the region's business objectives and enhance organizational performance.
Talent Acquisition:
- Define the sourcing strategy for the positions to be hired as per the criticality of the position and the availability of the talent in the market.
- Track the progress of the recruitment process to ensure that the hiring process is completed within the defined timelines.
Employee Experience:
- Support the leaders & managers in building a positive work- climate across work locations including company and franchisee retail outlets.
- Custodian of the employee experience by understanding concerns, resolving grievances, and driving superior employee experience.
Compliances & Employee Relations:
- Ensure compliance to statutory and other regulatory requirements from an employee policy and management perspective and take corrective actions wherever required.
- Ensure that connect with the employees is maintained and manage any escalations / grievances raised by the employees appropriately.
Internal Consulting:
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader to curate solutions for specific challenges in the region. E.g. Organization design, Productivity Norms etc.
L&D, Talent & Performance Management:
- Coach the leaders in the region on goal setting, feedback, review, rating, etc. to ensure high performance culture.
- Enable internal talent growth through talent reviews, succession planning, development and learning interventions, partnering with relevant CoEs.
People Function Leadership:
- Torchbearer for leading all People Function driven priorities in the region.
- Establishing a process and data driven function while elevating the functional expertise and thought leadership.
- Living by the PeopleNXT charter and tenets.
