Job Role and Responsibilities:
Position/Title: Executive Vice President
Reporting to: The Board Members (CEO, Strategic Partnerships & Business Head)
- The Executive Vice President (EVP) will lead and drive the organization's digital rewards business with a primary focus on managing brand partnerships & alliances, B2B client relationships & new business development.
- This strategic role demands expertise in developing scalable partnerships, growing B2B revenue streams, and driving new business development while ensuring seamless delivery of innovative and value-driven solutions.
- The EVP will collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen the organization's market position and achieve ambitious growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Vision:
- The person in this role has to come with a radical growth mindset.
- The bent towards forging new associations and partnerships across the retail industry, payment aggregators, check-out journeys, loyalty currencies aggregators, LMS Players, Loyalty solutions, banking and BFSI space, Fintech, Airlines, Hotel industry and the government bodies like NPCI etc would be critical to this position.
- In this role, you would be contributing to both the supply ( brand partnerships and alliances) and demand functions ( clients, banks and government bodies who are the consumers of such currencies ) of the company
- Thus, the strategic vision and innovative ideas as to how alternate digital currencies/payments can disrupt the way the end user consumes this payment method via APPs, E-com, Q-com, and social commerce understanding would be appreciated.
- Having worked in a start-up culture and P&L responsibility held at an INR 3500 + Crore+ volume can be good add-ons favouring your candidature
- This role is a pan-India role based in Delhi NCR and shall require travel twice a month or more.
- As a strategic partnerships head across brands and clients, you would lead the existing partnerships ensuring you find ways to deliver measurable value from these accounts adding to the reward disbursement volumes and profitability.
- You shall also be responsible for the new business partnerships and will hand-hold the team to carry the face of the company with utmost dignity and professionalism.
Heading P&L and Teams for Demand and Supply functions:
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for brand partnerships, select client partnerships, alliances, and B2B & B2C solutions.
- Uphold the position of the organization as a leader in the digital rewards space.
- Align business objectives across departments to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share goals.
Brand Partnerships & Alliances:
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with brands, ensuring mutually beneficial collaborations.
- Negotiate agreements and optimize commercial terms with brand partners to maximize value.
- Drive innovative campaigns and co-marketing initiatives with partner brands to enhance user engagement.
B2B Engagement:
- Lead the expansion of the Digital currency vertical, targeting large enterprises and SMBs.
- Develop customized solutions for corporate clients to meet their rewards, recognition, and loyalty needs.
- Collaborate with sales teams to create compelling propositions and drive customer acquisition.
New Business Development:
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, creating strategies to penetrate untapped segments.
- Lead the development of innovative digital reward programs that cater to emerging client demands.
- Foster relationships with prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing team across sales, Alliances, Marketing & Client servicing.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Mentor emerging leaders and ensure the team stays updated with industry trends and best practices.
Driving the Product Innovation and Roadmap with Product and IT:
- You would be responsible for bringing insights from the ground-level interactions and sewing them into the product to ensure that we innovate and evolve the customer experience and UI / UX of our solutions both at the client ad supply side to lead market innovations and class apart customer convenience and satisfaction scores
Skill Set Required:
Education:
- BE & MBA from a credible business school.
Experience:
- 15+ years of experience, 5+ years in a leadership role.
- P&L holder and business acumen from finance and market analysis perspective preferred
- Good understanding of the digital rewards, gift cards, loyalty solutions, or corporate gifting domain preferred
- Expertise in API integrations and technical partnerships preferred
- Proven track record of driving partnerships, managing large enterprise relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
- Experience in P&L management, business development, and navigating cross-functional collaborations.
- Outstanding leadership, team management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
