City Incharge / Centre Head - Diagnostics

Role & responsibilities

1. Ensure timely release of diagnostics reports within defined TATs in coordination with processing lab and other support functions.

2. Ensure compliance with legal and statutory laws/rules applicable to diagnostics business for all units under supervision.

3. Report and provide regular updates on operations, sales, customer feedback, business development, etc. to immediate head and other designated personnel.

4. Oversee operations and business development for all B2C business for diagnostics (incl collection centers) for the city of Chennai (TN).

5. Lead business development initiatives and coordinate with relevant functions to plan and execute marketing activities.

6. Manage manpower requirements including but not limited to:  roster, leaves, segregation of responsibility, etc.

7. Oversee inventory management of reagents, consumables and staples, and ensure supply chain is properly managed to avoid operational issues.

8. Coordinate with designated personnel to ensure installation, timely maintenance, adequate insurance and care of medical equipment.

9. Coordinate with all departments like radiology, processing lab, business development, human resources, procurement, strategy, finance, audit, marketing etc. to ensure diagnostic operations in the city are run seamlessly.

10. Participate in interviews of direct and indirect reportee vacancies such as radiology technician, PRE, front end executive, staff nurse, phlebotomist, etc.

11. Handle customer grievances and establish systems to ensure positive development of brand image.

12. Attend regular training programs and any other external training programs organized by the Head Office.

13. Responsible for maintaining records, handling, and depositing (as per guidelines) of petty cash, daily sale and any other monetary collections.

14. Plan and manage logistics of home collection agents to ensure maximum coverage and timeliness in sample collection.

15. Work in coordination with MedPlus Pharmacy team to ensure cohesion and business growth.

16. Ensure a safe working space for all employees and take all necessary steps to ensure compliance with safety requirements under applicable laws.

17. Act using insights provided through MIS reports to optimize operations and ensure growth
