Sr. Analyst BI - Finance, AP

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, to join our Accounts Payables,Finance team. This position requires general knowledge of the procure-to-pay processes to support the Shared Service center through creation of critical success metrics, key performance indicators and process monitoring through the translation of large data sets to measure the stated objective. AP metrics will be derived from multiple data sources requiring the individual to have experience modeling and joining data sets and creating visualizations that tell a story of our department s success and opportunities. Responsibilities Include: Design and develop complex data models to support dynamic and scalable reporting solutions for AP process using SAP, QAD, Zendesk etc. data sources. Building analytics on Cloud solutions like Microsoft Fabric, Azzure etc. to meet business requirements. Work closely with AP and IT teams to understand business requirements, provide insights, and implement improvements in the AP function. Collaborate on AP automation and optimization projects. Regularly monitor capacity usage and performance metrics to identify and address potential bottlenecks. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all Power BI solutions. Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and best practices. Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to continuously improve BI solutions Skills / Experience / Qualifications 4 to 6 years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics, with a focus on Finance. Hands on experience in building analytics tools like Microsoft Fabric , Alteryx, Tableau. Power BI etc. Knowledge of Snowflake, Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database Power Apps. Advanced proficiency in SQL and expert knowledge on data transformation tools e.g., Alteryx Experience working in agile environment using tools like Jira. Certification in Microsoft Power BI, SAP or related technologies will be plus. Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M language for Power Query. Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders. Experience processing details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing clear and concise conclusions. Educational Qualification Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
