Job Description
- Workstation Troubleshooting includes: Hardware, Software, Network..
- User query/issue handling. Ensuring user queries or issues are captured, validated, and triaged for further processing.
- Communicating with users. Ensuring that various types of information are communicated to users through the appropriate channel(s).
- Identify and diagnose issues and problems
- Categorize and record reported queries and provide solutions
- Accept cases from the support queue
- Remotely assist clients with support needs
- Clearly communicate status on problems as well as resolution
- Exceed SLA guarantees to the clients
- Clearly document all tasks.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction
- Escalate, if needed, unresolved problems to a higher level of support
- Fast turnaround of customer requests
- Backup software monitoring and troubleshooting
- Disk defragmentation
- Event log review
- Hardware monitoring tool review
- Firm understanding of desktop hardware
- Familiarity with desktop hardware diagnostic tools
- Understanding of RAID.
